Post Acute Medical is seeking a Corporate Director of Behavioral Health to join our corporate team in either Enola, PA or San Antonio, Texas.  As the Corporate Director of Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for developing and implementing geropsych programs and overseeing financial operations for the geriatric mental health and therapy programs at Post Acute Medical.


As the Corporate Director of Behavioral Health, you will be charged with:

  • Working in partnership with Nursing Services to develop and implement a Geriatric Program
  • Overseeing operations and programmatic development to improve clinical and financial performance of care delivery
  • Providing assistance in development of overall programming and provision of services so they are; evidence based, quality driven, responsive to the needs of patient/family/referral source satisfaction and provided in cost efficient fashion
  • Developing and overseeing capital budgets and coordinating with leaders in development of operational budgets
  • Understanding and educating staff on the underlying payment models for services and working with the revenue cycle team to efficiently and effectively manage nuances of behavioral health billing, reimbursement and collection practices
  • Maintaining positive payor relations and partnerships and crafting and delivering care that is both cost and outcomes effective
  • Working with Quality and Compliance partners within the Facilities and Division for oversight of compliance with all Federal, State, and other regulatory agencies, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC) accreditation
  • Directing the management operations in accordance with the policies, procedures and values of Post Acute Medical
  • Developing and overseeing business and marketing plans for programs within the division


In order to be considered for this opportunity, we would like you to have:

  • Master's degree in mental health, healthcare administration, or related field
  • Four years of progressively responsible leadership positions in a mental health setting
  • Proven success in finance, compliant charging practices, organizational systems, personnel and facility management, labor relations, reimbursement strategies, regulatory agency compliance, and physician relations
  • Knowledge and experience in a psychiatric treatment environment
