Overview

Post Acute Medical is currently seeking a Corporate Director of Quality & Clinical Services. This person will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance and improvement of Nursing, Quality and Clinical Operations for the Post Acute Medical (“PAM”) system.  This position will require frequent travel (75% or more of the time).  

 

 As the Corporate Director of Quality and Clinical Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Nursing, Quality and Clinical operations in assigned hospitals
  • Assessing clinical workflow processes and implementing clinical and quality improvement processes in clinical practice areas to improve outcomes
  • Creating and implementing policies and procedures for clinical and quality operations in Post Acute Medical hospitals
  • Providing support and guidance to hospital and regional management regarding the clinical interface with administration
  • Participating as part of the local and corporate team in survey preparedness and maintaining licensure and accreditation of PAM hospitals
  • Assisting with the development and oversight of quality and clinical training at the hospitals
  • Assisting with hospital clinically-related equipment purchases and training
  • Representing PAM in a variety of professional and trade organizations

  • Ability to effectively lead a project
  • Ability to effectively express ideas and views when speaking or writing for groups, hospital managers, personnel, and patients/family members
  • Ability to write reports, memoranda, etc.
  • Cognitive ability to gather and analyze data and prepare reports
  • Ability to evaluate statistical data and to make various computations in planning departmental operations and budgets
  • Organizational ability to direct and motivate professional and non-professional staff in performance of all activities
  • Capacity to relate to people in a manner to win confidence and establish support
  • Organizational skills to prioritize work and use time effectively with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and the various details of the job
  • Competence in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other computer programs
  • A valid license and the ability to drive an automobile
  • The ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in nursing, clinical or quality leadership role required
  • Prior multi-facility healthcare administration experience preferred

Education and Training: 

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the state of residence, with the ability to become licensed in all states in which Post Acute Medical operates
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field preferred
  • Specialty certification, licensure or experience preferred
