Payroll Director


Post Acute Medical is currently seeking a Payroll Director to join our team in Enola, PA.  As the Payroll Director you're be joining a team that is committed to being the most trusted source for post-acute services in every community it serves.  With 27 Long Term Acute Care and Rehabilitation facilities currently serving our local communities, we are proud to offer a variety of services including comprehensive wound care, aquatic therapy, ventilator weaning, amputation treatment, pain management and much more.


As the Payroll Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving payroll information from departments
  • Recalculating (as needed) and inputting information into payroll system
  • Printing appropriate reports in order to verify input and make necessary corrections
  • Processing payroll; printing required reports and checks
  • Distributing checks and departmental reports to appropriate facility using the agreed distribution method, on a timely basis
  • Maintaining any necessary reports on Excel to accumulate information not available on Medhost
  • Providing controllers with appropriate reports and information necessary to prepare staffing reports
  • Preparing check requests for PR related deductions
  • Completing necessary maintenance on Medhost system (i.e. new departments) and assists with testing of new releases
  • Assisting Controller as requested with preparation of 941 and TEC reports
  • May prepare monthly report to US Department of Labor
  • Maintains files of reports and source documents in a neat and orderly manner
  • Maintaining the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion and positive communication
  • Promoting the Mission and Vision of Post Acute Medical within the work environment and community


As the Payroll Director, you should have: 

  • An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and/or professional certification(s)
  • 7-10 years of experience managing payroll operations in mid-size company
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting functions and pay day law within the scope of the payroll function
  • Prior experience utilizing Ulti-Pro is highly desired
